Money Tree Feng Shui

Money Tree Feng Shui

The money tree is a commonly used plant in the practice of FENG SHUI.  It has five leaves that are believed to represent five of the most basic elements of feng shui:  metal, wood, water, fire and earth.   A money tree that grows with six leaves is said to be even more lucky than the tree with five leaves. However, if you have a money tree with 7 leaves, it is considered to be extremely lucky. This is said to increase wealth and prosperity.

The presence of the money tree, in the practice of feng shui, is said to balance out any of the five elements that are weak or missing from the room.

Although the money tree does need some sunlight and should be placed near a window, it is best to find the perfect spot in the northwest corner of the room. This works best to enhance the prosperity the plant will bring.

In a business, when trying to maximize your money tree feng shui, you could place the plant near the place where money is exchanged (the register) to help to promote more sales.
